Simple & Tasty Dried Shrimp Sambal Chilli 2021 Dried Shrimp Spicy Sambal is a popular condiment that Asians love! The explosive flavours of the savoury fried chilli shrimps is addictive! You can have it with plain rice, bread, or as a condiment to enhance the flavours of your meat and vegetables, whichever you prefer! Before you proceed, I need to tell you something: You will need a lot of patience and time if you plan to make this. Patience because you need to stir-fry the ingredients almost non-stop. Time because you need about 1 hour of cooking time. But worry not, once you’re done you will have a month supply of dried shrimp sambal!



== INGREDIENTS ==

Chilli Paste 5 tbsp

Dried Shrimp 100 g

Tamarind Paste

Sugar

Oil 120 ml

Salt


== STEPS ==

1. Pour warm water into dried shrimp

2. Soak in water for 5-15 mins or until it soft

3. Drain it

4. Grind Dried Prawns

5. Mix tamarind with water

6. Turn on low medium heat

7. Add in chilli paste

8. Sauté until fragrant under low medium heat

9. Add in dried shrimp

10. Stir it

11. Add in tamarind water

12. Stir it

13. Add in sugar

14. Add salt

15. Slowly add in oil

16. Frying dried shrimp sambal chilli requires more oil to bring out fragrance

17. Add in oil

18. Keep on stirring. Fry until dry

19. It’s ready when the color turns darker and the the texture loose & dry

10. 搅拌均匀

11. 加入阿叁膏水

12. 搅拌均匀

13. 加入糖

14. 加盐

15. 慢慢加入油

16. 炒叁拜虾米辣椒需要多一点油才会香

17. 加入油

18. 持续翻炒至干为止

19. 当颜色变深,炒至干就好啦

20. 虾米酱可以配饭吃更香
